Filey is an ideal base for touring
York, Malton (Eden Camp the award winning museum), Robin Hoods Bay, Free Port, Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey, Pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors with its Steam Railway, and the ‘Heartbeat ‘ countryside famed through the recent TV serialisation.

Situated between the bustling resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough both with their amusements, cinemas and theatres, including Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round where nightly plays and comedies are shown. Many of which have been written and produced by Alan Ackbourn, the plays are world Premiers.

How to get to Filey.

If you approach the coast on the A64 you take the Filey turn-off, A1039, at the roundabout 2 1/2 miles beyond Ganton. Follow the signs for Filey.

If you approach from the South on the A165, you will come to a roundabout with the Filey turn-off to the right.

By Rail ... From Leeds, York, Scarborough and Hull.

Coaches .. Daily services from various parts of the country.

Bus Services ... Hourly from Scarborough and Hull. Regular bus services from Leeds and York.
